Design your own Power System

Imagine you are writting a battle shonen. What are the fighting rules of your setting? For example:
The Artes system. Here, every individual have access to at least one arte, which is an unique ability with a trigger and an effect.
In my world there are many demihuman races. So, artes are divided by two types: Inherent Artes and Hidden Artes.
Inherent Artes are skills that are shared among members of each race, for example, elves/drows/half elves (magicians) have the inherent arte [Elemental Magic] which require a chant or hand signs to visualize the magic formulas required for the spell and cast it. Nephili have [Holy], skarlet devils have [Illusion Break], Argent wolfs have [Super Strength], etc.
Each race have an Inherent Arte and a Hidden Arte, which is an ability unique to each individual. There are exceptions though.
Humans, for example, don't have inherent artes, but they can have up to 3 hidden artes. And draconids have only one inherent arte and can't have hidden artes since their inherent arte [Dragon Soul], which gives them the attributes and powers of a dragon, is already pretty OP (total and partial dragon transformation, resistance to magic, dragon laser breath, super strength, elemental magic, flight, you get the idea).
Inherent artes can be accessed at any moment, however, to use hidden artes you require a power bracelet, and you don't have automatic access to them either, you have to train to discover your hidden artes and hone the ones you know how to use. Some people don't even get to discover all their hidden artes, not because they can't but because they don't train to unlock them. The power bracelet also serves as physical and magical defense, so in my world, armors aren't needed
There are no levels here, victory is told by who can make better use of their artes, inherent and hidden. A draconid that can't control their power can be defeated by a human with the arte of, for example, making things spin rapidly by touching them with their hands (Yes, that's the type of abilities i want to go for).

I'm more of writing the lore of a world but lets try:
In this world, people can turn their dominant arm into that of a specific beast they had some contact with, so it is common for people to turn it into a cat arm or a dog arm, and turn them into wings is only a viable thing for ambidextrous people since both arms are as dominant, the police and others forms of authority do turn their arms into beasts like tigers and elephants, and generals or any highest level of military authority does turn it into mythical creatures like a dragon or a phoenix, in the economy it is normal to have magical creatures in captivity to use their powers and there is an entire black market of exotic creatures with unique and even illegal abilities.
It is important for people to change what creature they use because the more they use it the harder it gets to turn it back into a human arm and use something else, even the abuse of this can twist your mind and turn it into that of the creature you took it from
