Suspicious scores, probably botting?

I've noticed that if you take a look at the results of "score:>200 rating:general", most of the images there have the character arven_(pokemon) in them.
This almost feels like the score for any image containing that character has been artificially raised.
Maybe something to be looked into?

only time I remember a tag have a pre-set score if an image was uploaded with it was the Toddlercon tag always starting out with (-100) or something close

arven may be a popular character atm

I didn't mean to say the score was pre-set or that it instantly gained score just by having that tag, but that somebody is probably using bots or multiple accounts to upvote these images.
And I really doubt he's a popular character at the moment or something like that.
His game came out over 2 years ago and before the first instance of an image of him having >200 score we only had 51 TOTAL images with a score like that.
Now there's 137 images of him with a score over 200. 297 images if you lower it to >150 score.

Out of the 243 images with rating:general and a score above 200, 56.37% of them are of this character, which is very suspicious.

may not be anything to get too concerned about, even if it's true. There's no algorithmic or monetary gain for an image to have inflated likes. Worst/Best case scenario somebody nuts, then looks to the left and goes, "huh, that's a lotta likes"

scores don't really matter anymore at this point anyway.

Yes OP, likes are often botted.

The worst example is the most liked of all posts are some poorly compressed .gifs from some niche anime that no one cares about (kill me baby). And it's not even porn with big boobs. It's obvious that a bunch of humans didn't upvote it themselves, and it was some schmuck botting the likes.

I remember one of the admins saying they didn't really care about it because botted likes have always been present, but I'm a little skeptical on that because there was a time where high ranking results actually made sense. Perhaps it's just that the botting issue just got way worse.

Maybe it's good, I've never watched it.

But I meant that no one cares about it in the sense that no one is going to be mass upvoting that show wherever they see it. The characters themselves don't even have much results.

Projection. I upvote every Kill Me baby post I see. Most users of this site do too.
