3D Anime Recs?
Posted on: 03/07/25 01:08AM

I've been rewatching Kengan Asura Season 3 just to look at the details and scenery and was really impressed by how much they stepped up the presentation of the show. Larx really put in the make this look better, and I honestly think, for the most part, it captures the visceral and impactful moments from the manga (especially when someone gets finished off). Was wondering if there anymore Fully 3D anime seires anybody recs with a good story and great use of CGI?

Asura (2012). It's more akin to hybrid animation than conventional 3D, featuring CGI (though still stylised) characters and watercolour backgrounds. The tone will seem bitterly tenebrous, but it has a poignant resolution and awesome action sequences.

Aoki Hagane no Arpeggio: Ars Nova is also excellent, but unfortunately, I can't vouch for its movies.
