Shota/lolicons, how do you view them ?

Heya guys, been a bit huh ?

Am just making this thread bc I'm curious, I've checked the forum every now and then and… it feels kinda different than some years ago, huh ? Many new people too… well anyway the main actual real topic of this !

What are your personal thoughts and opinions and like, whatever, on shotacons, lolicons… and like, also with how do you feel when it's a man or a woman. Not like, how do you feel about yourself if it applies, just how do you see others generally… does that make sense ?

Yeah, it sure has been quite awhile Flamingo! I hope you're doing good.

I'd say by now I've mostly made my peace with lolicons and shotacons.

I view them as.... "peculiar" right off the bat, but I do not judge immediately. Most of the time.

I will never truly understand why they like it, especially since I honestly can't even look at it for more than a few seconds, but as long it's strictly fictional and nothing photorealistic, they should be allowed to like what they like. I won't always approve of the practice, but it's their business and their sexual tastes. Fictional drawings. No real world harm. And no harm, no foul, as they say.

Though I must admit I do tend to question the logistics/psychology behind gooning to a character that has an undeniably pre-pubescent body, 1000 year old immortal dragon or not. But I try not to think much about it, and I do not choose to slander people for it. Unless of course, that person has left evidence that their lust is NOT strictly limited to fictional characters.

Any lolicon or shotacon who wants to touch kids irl need to be fed into a woodchipper. MAPs included. Case closed!

I think that is a perfectly logical perspective on it. My thoughts are similar, though I'll add it can be off-putting to me if that's the only thing they're interested in, even if it's strictly fictional.

When they make it their entire online personality (which a lot seem to do) let people who didn't wanna know about it that they're into, or spam the "uooohhh" thing then they're damn annoying.

I don't care if it's a harmless vice (which vast majority of the art really is). I also think a lot of people tbh are in some measure of denial regarding it, but some places it's understandable why given laws suck there.

I'm convinced a lot of the people that just make it their personality are deep down super lonely and wishing they had if not a partner at least a fwb or something.

Lolicons and shotacons are mentally ill, though I am one, so I am extremely conflicted about my feelings towards the subject. I know that once you find out you're into this, it's hard to go back. So I can't personally judge people for liking it. Though, there's a lot of questionable art out there, even on a fairly tame website like this. So it's hard for me to publicly defend loli/shota when I know stuff like realistic 3D hentai and art based on real girls exists. Drawings and animations that makes you question the narrative that loli has nothing to do with any sort of sexual disorder.

I'm in the camp of "most lolicons and their ilk are just weirdo gooner fetishists who need to get some bitches, and probably don't have any intent on harming anyone in real life, although the ones that DO cross that line need to get help and/or seek jail time."

ddork mentioned the realistic 3D hentai, and I think that stuff is WAY too close to comfort for me; I prefer sticking to the animesque/cartoonish shit. And drawing porn of IRL people without their consent, kid or not, is just wrong (I might make exceptions for pornstars, because they've chosen to base their brand off of sex stuff, but if you're drawing a picture of you fucking your niece and putting it online... don't.)

I can't really blame people for feeling uncomfortable or unsafe when it comes to that sorta thing, given the subject matter, but in the end, it's just people jacking off to cartoons and stories and stuff, and I can't really bash someone for doing that, especially given that I'd be a hypocrite if I did. And I don't think we should be incarcerating lolicons for being who they are or banning their art or attacking and slandering them, when stuff like GTA exists. GTA lets you run over people, kill hookers, rob banks, and just overall be a fucking menace to society... in the game. And we don't think video games of that type are causing people to become terrorists, right? Only the PTA Karens and the politicians would have the gall to say that. So if there are people robbing banks and killing prostitutes in GTA, or committing genocides in Civilization or Undertale, and they didn't become terrorists or war criminals, and people understand that, then why don't people apply that same logic to stuff like loli?

I'm not saying I'm against Grand Theft Auto, I'm just saying that games like that involve the main character doing acts of immorality, or allow (and even encourage) the player to do immoral stuff in the game, yet are usually acceptable forms of entertainment, while lolicons are slandered.

I do wish more countries (especially in Europe) had similar laws than Japan when it comes to loli/shota. Mostly because then I could see Italian or French dubs of shit like Fate/Kaleid or Psychic Squad or what have ye.

consuming art of realistic 3d lolis being gangbanged probably isn't healthy, but so is killing people in 40k resolution at 1600 fps in GTA5. i wish lolicons would shut up and know its a kink you should keep private unless in a community of just similar individuals. this is coming from someone whose uploads are probably in the .1% most degenerate shit posted onto gelbooru.

keep it private, keep it fictional, don't become a teacher, i won't judge you. if you want, probably find a therapist one day. that's coming from me, so you know its good advice.

Okie dokie, I'll stick to playing GTA5 on the GameCube. :)

I'm kidding; I don't play GTA5. I only (attempted to) play GTA SA maybe once.
