Two Main Issues with Gelbooru
Posted on: 05/29/26 08:21PM

1. After "General" rating was introduced, there are still a ton of G posts remaining "Sensitive".
(e.g. post #6625085 #1779137 #6689484)

Is listing each said post manually the only solution? Is there a dedicated thread of correcting G posts rated as S?

2. Saved artwork file name does not contain tags, only a string.

No other pains found. Have a great day!

Yeah, the first one will remain a problem for many, many years, there aren't enough active taggers solving it for older posts rather than the newer ones

We have almost 14.2 million images on here. We'd need hundreds of active taggers with nothing else to do in order to make a dent. Sometimes I forget how massive this website is.

Tagging gardeners sticky probably. Many tags are just inherited through the danbooru bot so there's always gonna be minor things to fix. I'm gonna warn you now though that there's a million tiny stupid nuances that move the needle into sensitive.

I usually play it safe when uploading. As a result, some of my posts might be content rated a little high.

Guess I'll add misrated General posts that I come across to a list from now on.
Current list:
gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=6625085
gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=1779137
gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=6689484

(Tried to post it here: gelbooru.com/index.php?pa...ew&id=5646&pid=24 no reply until now)

It would be nice.

Danbooru has come up with an interesting way of doing it. But what's easy to do there may not be easy to do here.
