The finale of The Amazing Digital Circus has been released on theaters! Which means BEWARE SPOILERS.
If you've managed to see the finale on theaters MARK. YOUR. SPOILERS.
I unfortunately didn't manage to get tickets on time for the theatrical big finale, so I'll just wait until the official YouTube release on June 19.

I do know one thing that I was spoiled on though:

Really late to this and pretty long talk sooo sorry...
Fortunately I was able to see it opening day, so going to the theater with people with the same interest as me was really fun, even if I didn't know them or would see them again. I remember people saying TADC fans would smell like shit and stink up the theater and whatnot, but thankfully I had no issues with that. My theater was quiet and respectful during the showing, and nobody smelled like shit. So overall pretty nice experience.
Now for my thoughts on the movie. First off, the emotional impact was actually pretty well done. I enjoyed Pomni's talks with Ragatha and Kinger especially, and later when she confronts the real Jax after his abstraction. Speaking of Jax, I know people had problems with him being center stage of the movie, and most likely I'm bias because he's my favorite character, but his backstory and ending as a character were pretty well done in my opinion. I will say though, Ribbit lived up to the hype. I seriously wish she got more time because her relationship with Jax and Kaufmo, and her as a character were so interesting to me. The only problem I had watching it for the first time was how Jax abstracted off screen. I thought it would be more of a major scene but then again, not only did we basically see the abstraction process in an earlier episode where Jax was in his room close to abstracting, but abstraction as a whole is basically suicide, and suicide is done in close doors or when people are alone, so it makes sense looking back on it now. Aside from Jax, Caine letting go of his other side was cool, and him showing the circus members their real life selves was sweet. To me though, it's pretty sad. Sure, they've pretty much accepted they're stuck in the circus forever, but putting myself in their shoes, knowing another you is free living life and you're stuck in this digital world for as long as you live is kind of depressing to me. Though I guess it's not so bad when there's others like you to keep you company. Though there's a good amount of things left to still speculate on, the ending did it's job, and I'm happy for Gooseworx and Glitch for making it this far with this show and indie animation as a whole, because I know damn well there will not be another Glitch show with as much motion as TADC.
Also, didn't know where to put this in the rant but the music was really good. The track in Ribbit's room was euphoric, and definitely in other scenes too but that's one that first comes to mind when thinking about the music for this film.
I'm gonna miss this show and it was a really fun ride but I'm definitely ready to move on to what's in store for the future, like Gameoverse and Knights of Guinevere (especially Gameoverse). What's left now is to just wait and see what's next.
