Someone keeps going around and tagging all the reverse_netorare posts with netorare (and also removing cuckquean, even though afaict it isn't deprecated).

NTR is a man getting cucked, reverse NTR is a woman getting cucked. It's entirely reasonable that someone would want to see only reverse NTR and not [normal] NTR (or vice versa), so tagging posts that only feature reverse NTR as NTR defeats the purpose. if you want to see both, you can easily use the OR search option {netorare ~ reverse_netorare}. Posts that have both tags should have both male and female cucking. The search reverse_netorare -netorare should not remove most posts that only contain reverse_netorare (which it currently will). if you don't want to see either, just add them both to your blacklist.

I get that from a semantic point of view, technically reverse_netorare is a type of netorare, but that defeats the purpose of a tag system, so its not a valid reason to go around messing up the tags on posts. reverse_netorare exists to differentiate posts from classic NTR, so let it do that.

There are a bunch of hidden images tied to it (I assume deleted).

And now that I've added a wiki article for it, there are two "Version 1"s on the article history.
So there was a hidden or deleted definition already there.

I was curious as to what "cuckquean" was and why it's spelled weird, but there was no Gelbooru wiki.
There were no posts tagged as such on Danbooru (and no article to copy over) so I added the Wikipedia definition to the Gelbooru wiki.

Edit - Changed the wiki to let people know that the "cuckquean" tag has fallen out of use, and to use "reverse_netorare" instead.

I'm familiar with cuckquean in this imageboard from a long time ago and recently I noticed there are much less posts with that tag than what I expected. Looks like posts with that tag have been getting deleted or someone poisoned and removed it from a lot of posts?

But, honestly, now that there are so little posts with that tag I don't know if cuckquean should be treated strictly (as a woman that asks her man to cuck her.) Or if it should be treated loosely (a woman gets cucked wether or not they want it.) The latter is the one I would use in place of reverse netorare, since netorare on itself sounds like an inclusive term. The sources I've found treat it as an inclusive term for both men and woman getting cucked. I'm very rusty with japanese ngl (I wanna study japanese again too), but afaik there's no gender or sex on its kanji.

Edit: Yeah... I defo remember one image of Nagatoro getting cucked tagged as cuckquean and it's not there anymore when I look it up. Would be good to know what happened with this tag since it doesn't look deprecated.

1. "cuckquean" has been replaced by "reverse_netorare"
2. "Reverse_netorare" is nested within "netorare", so when you add "reverse_netorare", the system will automatically include "netorare" as well; therefore, if you search for "reverse_netorare -netorare", you won't find anything
3. If you search only for "reverse netorare" you should see situations where the woman is cheated on; "netorare -reverse_netorare" shows situations where the man is cheated on. The problem lies in the blacklist, where you can’t remove "netorare’ because doing so would also remove "reverse netorare"
4. Looking at Danbooru, this gets even more complicated, since "reverse netorare" shouldn’t be used for cases that could be considered “yuri netorare,” which is extremely confusing and a mistake in my opinion

We're not going to just let one user decide our tagging system dude. If multiple people keep changing the tags, don't you think there's a reason?

Such an ugly tag. I would push for a rename of reverse_netorare, honestly. It's the same case of reverse_rape, but this time more complicated cuz we would have to suggest a tag that mediates what users are looking for by using a combination of tags (such as rape + femdom to look up for images where the female is raping the man, altough it can ocasionally deviate to other situations as well.)

In this case, netorare + femdom/maledom doesn't seem to be a fix. Maybe create and spread more tags about roles, like using the term "cuckcake" to refer to images where there is a woman cooperating in the act of cheating by willingly having sex with the compromised male part. I know some may not like using western terms. Some may not like the heteronormativity. However, this is much more productive than distorting the meaning of an asian word and imposing more biases on the way "reverse netorare" sounds as if plain netorare was just about males getting cucked. It's paradoxical.

Things being ugly is not highly problematic for me, though. It is just my honesty that sounds rude sometimes. It's likely that nothing happens, but people may consider this post on danbooru or anywhere if there is anyone willing to push the rename or deletion of the tag.
