i accidentally clicked on save search while editing some tags and i cant remove the saved searches, even when i go to the saved search section.

For me it works when I go to the saved searches page, the button to delete it should be to the left of the tags. Its still there just invisible for me, maybe the same for you?
Try putting your cursor over the empty space left of the tags and clicking.

Doesn't seem to be related to theme choice or adblock. Also happened in both browsers I tested.

the button is invisible because the background image it's set to use is 404.

if there's intention to change it i'll save you time: it's somewhere around line 1066 of jquery-ui.css
as a user, if you want a temporary fix and are using something for custom CSS such as the Stylus extension (i use firefox), just giving the buttons a big obvious border helps
