Looks rather cute and nice to me. Honestly? It's really not bad. Try looking around sometime, and you'll see the styles of things aren't all the same. The one you linked isn't the end-all of what art on here is supposed to be.

If you're trying to object to the deletion, it wasn't because of the art, it was because of the artist. chibicyndaquil isn't Japanese, so her art isn't allowed here.
