Saitama would win, because that's the point of his character. He is the antithesis to what DBZ is all about. it would end just like it did with Boros, maybe it'd drag out a little longer...... maybe.

I always thought that if the two authors collaborated, Toriyama would understand Saitama is a gag character and agree that he should win, because he LIKES that sort of thing.

Toriyama pretty much dropped hints throughout the ENTIRE Buu Saga that he didn't take his series as serious as his rabid fans. Dragonball was always a comedy-first oriented show based on a parody of Journey to The West.
