Serizawa Kanako
The defendant will be sentenced to carnal punishment.
Carnal punishment is one of the replacement penalties established after capital punishment was abolished. Targeted at young women up to their twenties, the convict will be made powerless by surgically removing her arms and legs. She will then be privatly entrusted to a 'carnal executioner' who will keep her as a pet until her menopause.
The 'carnal executioner' will be selected among all single men who exceed a defined level of income. Unless a legitimate reason exists, it is not possible to decline this responsibility.
Due to this punishment also being intended to counteract the declining birthrate, the executioner is obliged to have at least two children with the convict. These children will normally be raised in a public institution to avoid burdening the executioner, but if the executioner wishes to do so, can be raised by them as their own children.
