You generally wouldn't call it a catfight if it escalates to bruises and blood. Catfights are more fights between two girls who don't really know how to fight or aren't being terribly sincere about inflicting injury as it typically involves limp slapping, clawing, scratches etc. There's hair pulling going on here, but it's to facilitate punching and choking.
