I like to remember Belldandy’s purity and how good and lucky you’d probably feel to have her with you. I understand there’s a bit of appeal into seeing that aspect of her subverted, making her more human and flawed like a regular woman, prone to carnal pleasures and lust to the point of unfaithfulness. But it kind of fails to do her any service or justice.
