Well, her mother was American half-german/half-japanese, whom worked for Nerv in Germany.
Also her father is American. At least Kyoko Zeppelin (Asuka’s mom) got seed from the US Sperm bank.
So yeah, everything is fine. Asuka Langley Soryu is an American half-german/quarter-japanese girl, who growned up in the Germany.
