I’d love for both her and Zangya to be canon. We could do with some hot bad girls especially now since Mai is a good guy, 18 is a good guy and a mom, and Lunch is just... gone.

Does canon dictate whether or not those characters have value? They already exist and can be enjoyed as-is.

If they were canon than it’s possible for them to make future appearances especially if they’re super popular. I mean sure Lunch is gone but we’ll all have images of her to remember her by but if she were still around I’d wager images of her would surface more often. If the work and character is active and alive than so is their fandom.
