Maybe I am the only one that thinks that way but looking at this picture, a lot of memories come back to me... and I would say that pokemon DEVOLVED along the years. At least the anime.
Remove that, Gold and silver keep being the biggest pokemon games ever, and black and white are the ones that had the best story ever. Even the games are stucked in the best scenario.
