Actually, if you watch the background in the comics, you'll sometime see there is more than 1 guy.
I think it was stated somewhere that they were all brothers, all living together with a different monster girl.

I totally find aracne realy cute, and also my favourite (even thou i actually hate spiders >.<).

The clawing problem can be solved very easily making her wear some soft globes, or something to hide the claws.
