I played maybe like 30 minutes of Resistance and gave up, in large part due to all the silly and "exotic" weapons that they kept shoving in your face that were A) not fun to use and B) totally distracted from the atmosphere of the rest of the game.

That said, a machine gun with a barrel-mounted flamethrower? Yes please.
