Shrine prostitution is an ancient tradition of Gensokyo, Reimu-chan, one even you cannot always escape. The price the customer has to pay is absolutely symbolic and is in bad taste to pay or ask more than a pittance for service given.

Of course a priestess must not forcibly be happy to observe this tradition, Reimu-chan, as long she does dutifully what is expected from her. Duty is duty, and one's personal feeling in the matter are irrelevant.
