I'm not sure this is as epic as you may think. Look really closely at whose on the right side, and what age they are. If Goten is that age, then he's a SS. Meaning Gohan is either SS2, or that other Uber Saiyan thing he does. This in turn means that Goku can go up to SS4, or any of the previous three with ease. You've got three super saiyans against two regular saiyans and Vegeta (whose probably a sleeper agent for Goku's side), that's a no brainer there.
