Looking at an anatomical picture the foot seems to have only 2 muscles to crunch it's toes, one for the 'Thumb' and another one for the remaining 4 ( Index- , Middle- , Ring- & Little Toe ) making this pose impossible unless you're a mutation with different sinews running into split muscles.

The Japanese have been making the "V" sign for so long, that is is ingrained into their DNA by now. I wouldn't be surprised if someone of Japanese descent could do that.
