Summary: | 1) Mass deleiton of favorites. 2) A way to close accounts |
Description: | 1. There needs to be a way to delete favorites in bulk or all at once. It takes too long to delete them one by one. 2.A way to close my account if I want to should be an option. |

Please limit tracker tickets to one issue per ticket. Mass-deletion of favorites sounds like a useful feature. Closing user accounts, on the other hand, poses problems. We do not allow users to delete their own image uploads. Content submitted to the site is considered to belong to the entire userbase, not to the uploader. As such, images will only be deleted if they violate the Terms of Service. The uploader of an image has no say in whether it stays or goes. This presents a problem which makes closing accounts unfeasible. If a user account is closed or deleted, all of the posts made under it will still remain. Since these posts contain in their own data, separate from the user's data, that they were uploaded by the user, the user's impact on the site will remain. The same is true of comments and forum posts as well. The only way to get around this would be to change the posted by on all of them to "Anonymous". This is also unacceptable, because it would allow anonymous users to upload posts as a registered account, delete the account, and get away with uploading ToS violating and potentially even illegal images without us even being able to see who they are. |
