Summary:Original Image link as link to image even when JavaScript enabled
Description:The behaviour of the "Original Image" link when JavaScript is enabled is undesireable for many users. I estimate that for most users the current behaviour with JavaScript is not better than without.

Better would be that "Original Image" is a plain link to the image regardless of whether JavaScript is activated. This also allows the user to handle the image however they wish, such as viewing it in an external image viewer. Saving the image can also be more difficult with how the current JavaScript handling is done. With JavaScript currently, right clicking on the image and selecting save saves the reduced size image rather than original.

That's because a preview image is loaded for bigger pictures so regular users just viewing posts won't strain the server too much with loading images.
If you right click on the "Original image" link and select "Save image/source/link/whatever it is called in your browser", then you will be able to select the original picture regardless of JavaScript running or not.
(Besides clicking twice on the "Original image" link takes you to the image file itself directly.)

Additionally, right-clicking on the image its self should save the full-size image. You just need to wait for the full-size image to fully load before the javascript will switch them out. I can confirm this for Firefox, Opera, and Chrome, and Internet Explorer seems to switch them out right away without even needing to wait for the full-size version to load.
