Summary: | Bug with wildcard search |
Description: | The wildcard function only seems to search the first part of a tag. E.G. Lets say you want to search for all tags with moka in the tag name, so you do moka*. This will only search for tags beginning with moka, rather than any tag with moka in the name. It will not find tags like akashiya_moka. This makes the wildcard not very useful for searching long tags... |

This is actually the intended functionality. The * wildcard means that anything can be put in place of the *, not that the text before the * can appear anywhere in the string. To search for tags BEGINNING with moka, the correct wildcard is *moka. To search for tags with moka somewhere in the middle, the correct wildcard is *moka*. To search for tags starting with mo and ending with ka, the correct wildcard is mo*ka. This currently only works on the tags page, and not actual searches. This is a known issue. |

>To search for tags BEGINNING with moka, the correct wildcard is *moka. You mean moka*? |

No, I meant "ENDING". Whoops. |
