- Store texts in language files (easier to distribute to different translators or exclude from releases).
- Add option to change language in frontend (flags?) & user settings
Maybe a small tool could be created on the gelbooru.com domain (link in top panel) where a list of standard english words / phrases is displayed and registered users can submit their own translations which will be sometime later reviewed by the staff in the last step before adding to the source code of the platform (not necessarily directly on gelbooru.com). Additionally, the users could vote and comment the translation submits of other users to improve them and to prevent inappropriate texts (spam). This would make it easier to find bad translations. |
