Due to several of her series becoming extremely popular and influential and being adapted into anime, she has become one of the wealthiest mangakas. Her work tends to be lighthearted and comedic in nature but she has dabbled in serious drama and even horror. She likes to create romantic relationships involving a rude but ultimately good young man and a fiery young woman. The two of them will often ferociously and comically argue with each other, but they still have strong romantic feelings for each other deep down. Her tendency to do this, as well as the popularity of her work, is a likely inspiration for other romance comedy series. While she has written shorter works, her series have a tendency to get very long.
