She is one of the major characters of RWBY and is a member of Jaune's team JNPR. Nora is an extremely energetic and perpetually cheerful girl and the childhood friend of Lie Ren, her polar opposite in personality. Nora has an odd way of thinking, proposing that Ren and her develop a sloth call as a secret message even though sloths aren't known for being noisy. She is also very chatty and can ramble for long periods of time. The two of them are very close with each other and are happy to be on the same team with each other, but when the topic of the nature of their relationship comes up, Nora claims that there is nothing romantic between them. However, she is protective of Ren and notably gets upset whenever he is harmed. She retains her cheerfulness in the middle of a life or death battle and enjoys fighting. In combat, she wields a powerful weapon that can be used as a grenade launcher or a giant hammer. She, like Ruby, can also use her weapon to fling herself into the air with its powerful recoil. She is based off of Norse mythology's Thor. She is voiced by Samantha Ireland. Her theme song is "Boop," which is about her feelings towards her childhood friend/love interest Lie Ren. The title of the song is inspired by one of the more well known scenes featuring Nora where she makes the eponymous noise and playfully taps Ren on the nose in response to him stating that the strange call she made earlier is not what a sloth sounds like.
