Now Viewing: hibiki_danTag type: Character Dan Hibiki (火引 弾, Hibiki Dan) is a character from Capcom's Street Fighter series of fighting games. He was introduced in Street Fighter Zero, but originally appeared in a piece of artwork featuring Sagat in which he was defeated by him. Dan is consistently portrayed as an arrogant, overconfident, yet utterly feeble character in many of the games he is featured in. He famously proclaims that his school of martial arts is the Saikyo-ryu (the strongest style) In Street Fighter Zero, he has the most taunts out of any character. and is only one who can taunt infinitely. He becomes Kasugano Sakura's mentor, but it doesn't take long for Sakura to surpass him in abilities. He is one of the earliest and one of the most well known comedic relief fighting game characters. He was conceived of as a parody of SNK. He has a similar face and hairstyle to Art of Fighting's Robert Garcia and wears a pink version of Ryo's uniform from the same game. He is voiced by Hosoi Osamu (Street Fighter Zero series, Marvel and Capcom crossovers), Ishikawa Kazuyuki (Street Fighter Zero the Animation), and Kusuda Toshiyuki (Street Fighter iv and Street Fighter x Tekken).
