She was first introduced in Shiritsu Justice Gakuen: Nekketsu Seishun Nikki 2 (Japan-only PlayStation-exclusive update of Shiritsu_Justice_Gakuen) and was then included in Moero!_Justice_Gakuen (AKA Project Justice, Project Justice: Rival Schools 2). She is nicknamed the "Scoop Girl." There has been some speculation that she is Hibiki_Dan's sister, but Capcom has remained silent on this claim. The available images of Dan's sister do not seem to match Ran's appearance.
