She is the personification of the German battleship Bismarck [1], named after Chancellor Otto von Bismarck. She wears a bottomless gray, black and red uniform which slightly changes after each remodel based on her historical paintjobs. The uniform features a chestplate, thighhighs, detached_sleeves as well as a peaked_cap. She embodies the ideals of the Aryan race with her blonde_hair, blue_eyes and tall stature. Normally, she has a dignified but haughty personality but artists tend to give her a silly, dorky personality similar to Nagato_(Kantai_Collection). She is also given the nickname "Big Akatsuki" (see Akatsuki_(Kantai_Collection)) for these same reasons. She is the first Kriegsmarine vessel introduced into the game along with Z1_Leberecht_Maass_(Kantai_Collection) and Z3_Max_Schultz_(Kantai_Collection). She is also the only ship-girl with a third remodel which is an actual upgrade rather than a ship class change (like the Chitose-class (Chitose_(Kantai_Collection))). Her "drei" form gives her the ability to launch torpedoes. This refers to Tirpitz's own modifications which included the addition of torpedo launchers.
