Now Viewing: seihouTag type: Copyright 西方 Seihou (西方, Japanese for "West") is a series of doujin (fan-made) vertical shooter games created by "Shunsatsu sare do?", featuring a futuristic theme game with science. It's currently no longer produced. It's known among groups that Seihou is a "sister series" to the Touhou series due to been the opposite to what Touhou follows. Also, Seihou means "western", as opposed to Touhou, which means "eastern". However, Oota_Jun'ya, Touhou's creator, has contributed music to the series, and three Touhou characters also appear in Seihou. Samidare is neither a Seihou nor Touhou game, but it contains elements of each, and both Seihou and Touhou characters appear in it. It isn't created by Amusement Makers, but by the members of RebRank. RebRank, however, is an organization that branched from Amusement Makers.
