Now Viewing: spauldersTag type: None Spaulders are armored plates worn on the shoulders and upper arms of plate armor. Spaulders are made of one or more plates that cover the shoulder and top of the arm, but not the underside. They typically follow the curve of the shoulder, and their overlapping segments allow fair freedom of movement up and down. For larger, more monolithic shoulder armor, see pauldrons.
