Now Viewing: takemoto_yasuhiroTag type: Artist 武本 康弘 A male animator/director who lived from April 5, 1972 to July 18, 2019. He studied animation at the Yoyogi Animation Institute, and after graduating joined Kyoto_Animation in 1996, where remained as an employee for the rest of his life. He made his directorial debut with the studio's first solo TV series, 2003's Full_Metal_Panic! Fumoffu. From that point on, he became one of the most prominent directors at the studio alongside Ishihara Tatsuya and Yamada Naoko. Aside from Full Metal Panic!, he was most well known for directing most of Lucky_Star, Hyouka, and Kobayashi-san_chi_no_maidragon. He was one of the casualties of the tragic 2019 Kyoto Animation arson attack.
