She is popular amongst her classmates for her beauty and her charisma. On top of that, she is confident and secure with who she is and does not hide her love of anime/manga/games. She is the polar opposite of the withdrawn Wakana Gojou in personality, but the two of them form a connection once she stumbles upon his passion for making Hina dolls. Marin aspires to be a cosplayer, but she lacks the knowledge of the intricacies of designing and picking out proper garments. Upon seeing Gojou's skill in designing clothes, she asks Gojou to help her design costumes, an invitation he gratefully accepts after he sees how open-minded and accepting she is of his hobby and of others' hobbies. Marin is particularly a big fan of Kuroe_Shizuku, a character from an eroge that she loves to play, to the point that her room is filled with Shizuku-tan merchandise. Thanks to Marin's influence, Gojou steadily comes out of his self-imposed shell, makes connections with others, and experiences new things, all of which also benefit his hobby of making Hina dolls. As a gyaru, Marin uses a heavy amount of slang in her daily speech. In Japanese, she is voiced by Suguta_Hina in her first lead role. In English, she is voiced by voice actor/singer/Vtuber Amanda Lee or AmaLee.
