Following the story of a pint-sized prince named "Hero", sent by his father to "Witchyland" to slay witches and rescue the humans they’ve kidnapped—victims drained of their resources to fuel the witches’ powers. Unfortunately, Hero isn’t what he seems at a glance. He’s actually a massive, masochistic pervert whose chronic inability to control his arousal leaves him easily manipulated by the seductive witches he encounters. Hero is ultimately captured by a powerful witch named "Kuro", landlord of the twisted "Flipped Spider Castle". She coerces him into defeating nine other witches—each of whom rents a wing of her castle—who have kidnapped her younger brothers and now routinely molest them for their own selfish gains. Using Hero as her pawn, Kuro aims to flip the power dynamic that she herself enforced, setting off a devious power struggle dripping with lust, betrayal, and magical debauchery. The current in development alpha of the game is under the the name, "アンダーザウィッチ：ゴシック" (Under The Witch: Gothic) and is frequently updated every 30 to 60 days. Hero's Journey or "Under The Witch: Beginnings (アンダーザウィッチ：ビギニング) is a separate tie-in game that contains content around 3 characters not seen in Gothic, "Alice", "Dealer", and "Herba".
