Fern is a young human teen/adult with purple_eyes and long waist-length purple_hair, styled with a straight cut and blunt_bangs. She usually wears her hair down with two additional chest-length strands (sidelocks) framing her face. After her sixteenth birthday, Fern began styling her hair partially tied back with a butterfly_hair_ornament gifted by Frieren. During her travels with Frieren, she is most commonly seen wearing a long, buttoned white_dress with a Victorian-style top, including a frilled_collar and long_sleeves, along with black boots. When outdoors, she also dons a long hooded black_coat with a white inside layer. For her eighteenth birthday, Stark_(sousou_no_frieren) gave her an ornate mirrored lotus bracelet as a present, which she frequently wears on her left wrist. After the events at Graf Granat's Domain, Graf Granat gave Fern a black long-sleeved dress that she wears with a thick, white winter_coat and purple braided_scarf in colder settings.
