At base, the Rider Kick is a flying side kick where the Rider jumps, kicks their adversary in the chest, head, or stomach, resulting in their explosion. The Rider usually has one leg bent at the knee while the other is fully extended to kick, their body is leaned back but their head is facing forwards to look at their foe. As with many signature moves, the Rider Kick is the subject of many a parody. Over the years, there are many variations of a Rider Kick. Kamen_Rider_Ryuki's Dragon Rider Kick assumes the same position, but with much higher jump and is propelled by dragon fire. Kamen_Rider_Kabuto's Rider Kick is nontraditional as it is a roundhouse_kick. Kamen_Rider_W's Joker Extreme is similar to the original, but differs as his two halves each due a kick of their own.
