She made her voice acting debut in 1988's Hai Akko Desu as a random schoolgirl. Since then, she has become the most prolific female seiyuu in anime history with over 400 credited voice acting roles. She is most famous for playing Tendou_Kasumi, Belldandy and other kind, yamato nadeshiko, older sister, or motherly type characters, leading to her to being referred to as "Onee-sama" in real life. She was born on September 25, 1964. She has a running joke with her fans where she will refer to herself as 17-years-old every year. She is the mother of Inoue_Honoka, who is also a seiyuu. She has voice acted on almost every Kojima_Hideo-directed video games with voice acting, playing Jamie_Seed in Snatcher, Karen_Hojo in Policenauts, and four different characters (Rose, The Boss, Sunny, and Chico) in the Metal_Gear_(series).
