He is never physically seen throughout the entire game and all interaction with the idols is done through a first person perspective with the players choosing what to say to the idols. Because he is always seen through the eyes of the player, he is either characterized as a faceless male or a male with the letter P for a head; the latter is how he is depicted in Puchimasu manga. The more faithful Idolmaster anime TV series emulates the game's style for the first episode by showing the Producer interacting with the idols in first person viewpoint. The producer's dialogue is subtitled as opposed to giving him a voice. However, at the end of the episode, the producer's design is shown to the audience and he is given a voice. His name is never given and he is always referred to as producer or in the case of Miki, 'Honey." In the anime, he is drawn as a bespectacled suit wearing young man. He is inexperienced and occasionally makes blunders thanks to his inexperience, but he is very dedicated to his idols' well being and grows to become a competent and well respected producer. He is a kind young man who often worries a lot about the idols and takes the time to help them with any personal issues they might have. His relationship with them is strictly platonic and he is a bit embarrassed by Miki's flirtatious behavior towards him. The producer, staff, and idols at 765 Agency become a very tightly knit group. The producer's dialogue is also voice acted in the Drama CDs. He is voiced by Tai_Yuuki (Frontier Works' Drama CD), Mizushima_Takahiro (Relations Drama CD), Akabane_Kenji Anime, and Asanuma_Shintaro (Nemurihime Drama CD).
