Now Viewing: fox_mccloudTag type: Character A fox who wears an aviator jacket. He is the hero of the Starfox series and the team leader keeping the entire team together. He is a talented pilot who can pilot the fighter jet-esque Arwing as well as the submarine Blue Marine and the tank Landmaster. He looks almost exactly like his apparently deceased father James Mccloud except he lacks sunglasses. He was designed by Imamura_Takuya. He is playable in all of the Super Smash Bros. games and is a very quick fighter. In Japanese, he is voiced by Satouchi_Shinobu (Star Fox 64-Melee), who also played Leon from 64. He was replaced by Nojima Kenji (Star Fox Assault - Super Smash Bros. Brawl), though Satouchi continued playing Leon. He was then played by Ohara Takashi (Star Fox 64 3d- onwards) In English, he was voiced by Steve Malpass (Star Fox Adventures and Eng Melee), and Mike West (Star Fox 64 and 3D), and Glen Powell (The Super Mario Galaxy Movie), who, like castmate Donald Glover, pitched himself for the role due to both being a fan of the character and wanting to be part of a Nintendo film.
