She is a new character introduced in Persona 4 Golden and is a Social Link as well as having a new subplot centered around her. She is an amnesiac teen girl and Narukami Yuu is introduced to her by Margaret in the Velvet Room. Margaret asks Narukami to assist her in recovering her memories. Marie is usually in the Velvet Room where she manages Narukami's skill cards and Player Cards. However, she will appear in Inaba from time to time and Narukami can strike up a relationship with her. Marie has no recollection of her past life and the furthest back she can remember is the sight of the limousine that Margaret and Igor use as well as a bamboo comb she had in her possession at the time. Marie does not seem to be her real name and was given to her by Margaret. She is a troubled and very socially awkward girl with little knowledge of the outside world and often comes off as rude when she talks to others, but she does not mean to be malicious. When she is especially agitated, she speaks very rapidly and almost incoherently. As Narukami assists her in recovering her memories, she gradually opens up to him and develops romantic feelings for him which can be reciprocated by Narukami if the player wants him to. She is a playable DLC character in Persona 4 Ultimax.
