The original online series ran from January 31, 2018 to September 13, 2018 and was followed by an just as short TV anime that ran from January 4, 2020 to March 21, 2020. It was directed by Tatsuki and much like his previous directorial efforts, it is a light-hearted 3D animated series set in a desolate post apocalyptic setting. It is heavily meta comedy series that follows two characters, Oni and Neko who almost function as stand-ins for the anime's creators, as they wander around post apocalyptic Japan, discussing and cracking jokes about various topics.
