Now Viewing: karen_hojoTag type: Character A pale faced brown haired young woman who is slightly younger than Jonathan. She is Jonathan's ex-wife Lorraine's daughter and resembles a younger Lorraine. She works as a reporter for the Beyond Coast's news program. She is initially hostile towards Jonathan because she believes him to be responsible for her family's suffering. Hojo Kenzo and Lorraine often fought with each other while Karen was growing. Lorraine was still deeply in love with Jonathan and always kept a picture of him around whereas Kenzo could never live up to Jonathan. Karen calms down after Ed defends Jonathan by saying that Jonathan would never intentionally hurt Lorraine and Jonathan apologizes for the suffering Karen has endured. Karen is suffering from aplastic amenia and can only be cured by a bone marrow transplant and she has yet to find someone with the same HLA type. She is voiced by Inoue_Kikuko.
