Now Viewing: raidouTag type: Character The main villain of the first Dead or Alive game. He also appears in retelling of the first four Dead or alive games, Dead or alive Dimensions. He is a muscular man with red demonic eyes and a mustache. He is a power hungry and very malevolent man whose actions have caused a great deal of misery for the heroes and the consequences of his behavior had effects that can be felt in Dead or Alive's sequels. He was a runaway ninja of the Mugen Tenshin clan and Kasumi and Hayate's uncle. He raped Ayame, Kasumi's mother, which led to her later giving birth to Ayane. He did not raise Ayane but, as Ayane was the daughter of a man who was considered to be a disgrace as a ninja, she was ostracized by her fellow ninjas and this led to Ayane developing hatred and resentment towards Kasumi, whom she once was friends with. Raidou returned to cause more trouble for the ninjas and defeated Hayate in combat, giving him devastating injuries. As a result of the fight, Hayate fell into a coma and the outlook looked grim for him. The normally kind and gentle Kasumi was so enraged by Raidou's actions, that she decided to become a runaway ninja herself and finish off Raidou once and for all and ultimately succeeds in doing so. However, this decision has also led to Kasumi being forced to run away from her former comrades due to violating the ninja code. He is brought back from the dead by series antagonists Victor Donovan in Dead or Alive 5: Last Round; this time, with cybernetic body parts. He is voiced by Inada_Tetsu.
