He is the son of Elsa and Albert Steiner, one of the two creators of the antagonistic super-computer and sentient AI Dorothy. Rion is the childhood friend of main heroine Lilia_Pascalle, the daughter of Dr. Pascalle. Before Dorothy turned against her human creators, Rion underwent a brain surgery along with Lilia. He was installed with an activation program in his head that would execute the virus program in Lilia's mind to destroy Dorothy. Years later, he would be captured and held captive in Michelangelo Memorial Hospital. Rion was injected with drugs called PPECs that gave him psychic powers but also erased his memories. Rion's abilities include mental energy blasts (Nalcon), pyrokinesis (Red), and anti-gravity telekinesis (D-Felon). Rion also uses psychometry to scan objects for information and can Short, causing all his energy to overload and kill everything around him except Galerians. He then used these psychic powers to free himself and escape the hospital to find Lilia, who had been communicating to him using telepathy. After escaping the hospital, Dorothy sent the Galerians to find and kill Rion and Lilia. He reappears in the sequel Galerians:_Ash as the main protagonist again. His body was stored in a cryogenic storage container after he suffered a brain crash and died uploading the virus program from Lilia's mind into Dorothy. Lilia, now a computer scientist, was able to find his consciousness in the data world and restore him. Rion helps Lilia in trying to stop Ash_(Galerians) and the Last Galerians from destroying the world, who are also intent on reviving Dorothy. He gained two new PPEC abilities from Lilia, one allowing him to fire homing energy projectiles (Bustanor) and another that lets him summon powerful arcs of lightning (Breakaron).
