The show details the daily lives of Fumizuki Academy's Class F, a section of underachievers comprising of, among others, yoshii_akihisa, a consistent flunk-out, sakamoto_yuuji, the class representative, himeji_mizuki, a bright student whose failure to appear in placement exams landed her in said section, shimada_minami, a violent tomboy, kinoshita_hideyoshi, an extremely effeminate stage actor, and tsuchiya_kouta, an ace pervert, and their exam-based battles with other classes using Shoukanjuu, magical beings based on a miniature form of their users whose abilities reflect their users' grades.
