In the original comic, Gazelle is a dark-skinned muscular man, but for the film the character is changed to a slender dark-haired young woman. Despite having no legs, Gazelle is the most physically dangerous out of all the antagonists the Kingsman have to face. Gazelle's prosthetic legs double as blades and Gazelle is highly skilled at using them, easily outfighting most able-bodied characters. In the movie, her fighting style is highly acrobatic and dance-like. In the movie, Gazelle is highly loyal to her boss Richmond Valentine though she's also willing to poke fun at him. Since Valentine is squeamish and feels sick when he see blood, Gazelle does the majority of the fighting and killing for him, which she enjoys doing. She is played by famous Algerian hip hop dancer Sofia Boutella who's dance background influenced the moves her character performs.
