She has a close relationship with Ultear who took her with her after Meredy's hometown was destroyed. Anyone who speaks ill of Ultear or threatens her earns Meredy's wrath. After the time skip, Meredy is no longer a young girl and has developed large breasts. She is also noticeably happier and has developed a friendship with Juvia. She is voiced by Goto Saori.
