He is a member of the Hidden Mist Village who is infamous for slaughtering 100 fellow ninjas as part of a graduation test. He is employed by Gato to assassinate the bridge builder Tazuna. Zabuza wields a large sword and generally covers the lower half of his face. He is Haku's master and he trained Haku personally after taking him in. Although he seems to be a cold killer, Naruto and co. discover that he has more emotions than he initially seems to have. He is voiced by Ishizuka Unsho.
