She is the main female character introduced in Devil_May_Cry_5. Her full name is Nicoletta Goldstein. She is Nero's friend and business partner in the Devil May Cry business. She drives him around during jobs and supplies him with weapons, the latter of which she is particularly proud of. She is the inventor of the Devil Breakers that Nero uses throughout the game. Although she does not engage in hand-to-hand combat like the other main heroes, she is a highly skilled yet reckless driver, often using the incredibly tough Devil May Cry van as both a weapon and a way to get to seemingly impossible to reach locations. She is one of the few characters in the original continuity to smoke, which she does quite often. She is a cheerful and sassy woman, often making fun of Nero, but at the same time, the two of them consider each other trusted companions and Nico even lives with Nero and Kyrie. She is the daughter of Agnus from Devil May Cry 4, but she has no love for him as he abandoned his family. Nevertheless, she has inherited certain features from him such as her stuttering when over excited, her hair style, and her passion for inventions. She is also the granddaughter of Nell Goldstein who created Dante's signature guns, Ebony and Ivory. Director Itsuno Hideaki created Nico as a bad girl, as in, a sassy and honest girl who is unafraid to point out your flaws but still cares about you in her own way. Her character originally was meant to be a more serious and tough character, but the motion capture/ voice actress Faye Kingslee went for a more lighthearted and comedic interpretation which the developers loved and kept in the game.
